Our History
Joppa Shriners, located in Biloxi, Mississippi has served the Mississippi Gulf Coast since 1978 promoting the core Shriners mission of fun, fellowship, and philanthropy.ey aspects of Joppa Shriners include:
- Philanthropy: They support Shriners Hospitals for Children, providing transportation and assistance for children and families in the area.
- Fundraising and Activities: Joppa Shriners host various events to support their mission, including monthly steak nights, golf and bowling tournaments, “Jeeping for the Kids,” and an annual sportsman’s barbecue.
- Facility: The organization operates a 12,000-square-foot auditorium in Biloxi, which serves as a rental venue for community events, as well as providing RV spots.
- Brotherhood: As part of the broader organization, members are Master Masons dedicated to philanthropy and community service.
Celebration in 2026
This year we will be celebrating 48 years. We are planning a full year of celebration and growing membership through our community.
